Miami is one of Florida's most popular cities, and it's not hard to see why. A large city packed with restaurants, movie theaters, shopping and museums (how about the Museum of Ice Cream?!), only minutes away from Miami Beach. There's even quite a lot of nature, with lots of green parks to stroll around in. All you could ever need, in one place. Rent a house in Miami to enjoy the city and all it has to offer. Miami is also an ideal location weatherwise, with summer all-year round. In the middle and northern parts of Florida, winters gets a bit colder, with temperatures around 15 degrees. In the areas around Miami, however, temperatures stay around 25 degrees, even during the winter months.
Just a short car ride north of Miami you'll find Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is smaller and more quiet than Miami, and is perfect for families with kids. So if you're thinking about renting a house in Miami, Fort Lauderdale is a great option. The city is surrounded by water, and like small floating islands, you'll find gated communities with dreamy family vacation homes. Our vacation villa, Sailfish Villa, is a large house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It sleeps 10 people, so it's a perfect vacation home for the big family. You also get a large heated pool and a pool lounge area, for those relaxed afternoons.
Ok, so now you've decided to rent a house in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. But what to do during your vacation? The villa has a great location in Fort Lauderdale, minutes from the beach and near lots of great restaurants. If you like the ocean you definitely won't be bored here. Go on catamaran cruises, alligator tours, diving charters or maybe swamp safari. If you drive south and reach Miami, you have a million more things to do. Visit one of the theme parks such as Jungle Island or Grapeland Water Park, enjoy the greenery in the botanical garden Kampong, or relax in one of the hidden beaches.
